AG Announces Endorsement for his replacement

While John Kroger scored an important endorsement from the SEIU yesterday, Greg Macpherson was able to counter today with his own from current Attorney General Hardy Myers.

"He's the only candidate who has the innovation, experience, knowledge, and passion to do the job," said Myers.

"The Attorney General should be an advocate for Oregon, and that's exactly what Greg is," the AG continued.

Meyers joins other statewide elected officials including Governor Ted Kulongoski, State Treasurer Randall Edwards, and Superintendent of Public Instruction Susan Castillo in supporting Macpherson.

Macpherson’s campaign also noted in the statement that the candidate has raised over 95% of his funds from in-state donors, reinforcing that the geography of fundraising is proving a pervasive theme in the primary debate.
