Boquist to Wait
By Lauren LafaroAmong those suspected to jump in the race for the Republican nomination for Rep. Hooley’s soon-to-be-vacant seat is Representative Brian Boquist. He ran against Hooley twice in 2000 and 2002.
Representative Boquist’s office is said today that the Oregon legislator will not be making a decision about running in CD5 until after March 1. Boquist will be releasing a statement on Monday to this effect.
