Just in time for their debate at the Portland City Club this Friday, The Willamette Week profiles attorney general candidates Greg Macpherson and John Kroger.

“Kroger and Macpherson are both lanky Harvard graduates, Democrats (there is no Republican in the race) and accomplished lawyers. Yet their backgrounds could hardly be more different,” Nigel Jaquiss writes, setting up his in-depth contrast of the two men, their backgrounds and their beliefs.
