Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign is gearing up for a war in Oregon, and on Wednesday it announced who will lead the charge.
Rob Hill has been named Oregon state director for the general election, in hopes that he will deliver Oregon for Obama the same way he delivered Oregon in 2004 when he was state director for Democratic presidential candidate and U.S Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.).

energy plan
Here is an idea that could grow across the country.
Obama's answer to the tire guages that where give out by McCain.
Hold tire presser check events (similar to a car wash). Give out pressure guages, teach people how to check their own pressure. Give out statistics on how it will save on gas. Give out information on other helpful hints on how to be pro-active about saving energy. (the internet has several sites) Give out info on Obama's energy plan and all other campagine info.
It would be great is a cross country weekend event could take place with volunteers manning the tire pressure check points. And then hold an event twice a month.
You have the connections to organize all other states to get involved.
