Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s campaign is planning to expand its operations in Oregon with the opening of five additional campaign offices on Thursday.
Four of those offices will be located west of the cascades in Eugene, Beaverton, Oregon City and northeast Portland. The fifth office will open in Bend, the only Obama office announced thus far that will open in eastern Oregon.
The office openings come on the heels of the opening of Obama’s headquarters in Oregon, in southeast Portland on July 13.
