Obama delegate, videographer, excited about Biden pick

DENVER -- Barack Obama delegate Enrique Arias spoke highly of U.S. Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.), Obama’s vice presidential pick, on Monday at before the premier of his video “We the People” at the Oregon delegation breakfast.

“I think he’s a great choice,” said Arias, executive producer of Progressive Media Agency, and mastermind behind the video that was meant to inspire Oregon Democrats to stand up for traditional Democratic values.

“He’s tough, he’s got a good record of not letting the opposition get in the way of things.”

Shortly after Arias spoke with PolitickerOR.com, the Oregon Democratic Party played his two-minute film for the 120 members and supporters of the Oregon delegation that packed into the Hyatt Tech Center conference room.

“What I love about the spot is that it inspires people to take an urgent stand for their state and country right now,” DPO Chair Meredith Wood Smith said. “Citizens need to remember the power for real change is with the people”
