Busy convention day for Oregon delegation

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Wednesday promises to be a busy day for Oregon's delegation at the Republican National Convention.

Delegates will have an opportunity Wednesday morning to meet with Doug Wead, former adviser to President George H.W. Bush, presidential historian and author of All the President's Children.

Shortly after, the Oregon caucus will have an official lunch meeting at their hotel. The delegation will hear from several speakers, including former Gov. George Patacki (R-N.Y.) and Medal of Honor Recipient Hiroshi Miyamura.

After the lunch meeting, the delegation will be shuttled to downtown St. Paul for the evening's convention session, which will be highlighted by an address from vice presidential nominee Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska).
