State Rep. Scott Brunn (R-West Linn) demanded Thursday that state Rep. candidate Michele Eberle (D-West Linn) and FuturePAC retract statements made in mailers that were sent to residents in HD-37.
Attorneys representing Brunn wrote a letter to Eberle and FuturePAC’s head Michele Rossolo requesting that the group retract several statements regarding Brunn’s position on abortion. The attorneys wrote that Brunn would consider filing a lawsuit should the group continue to distribute the flyers, which wrongly stated that Brunn opposes abortion even under circumstances of rape and incest.
“Representative Brunn’s record of supporting choice in cases of rape, incest, or the life of the mother is easily documented and confirmed in multiple sources,” Brunn’s attorney Matthew Lowe wrote.
Lowe also wrote that the flyers said that Brunn was endorsed by the Oregon Family Council and the Christian Coalition, whereas the state representative said he was not endorsed by either group.
“They are purposely attempting to mislead female voters, and they are fabricating sources to make people think these statements are true,” Bruun said. “They are lying.”
Eberle’s campaign manager, Emily Kintzer, referred all requests for comments to Rossolo, who did not immediately return PolitickerOR.com’s calls.

With Eberle's history of lying and misleading people, this is not surprising. I hope voters will take this into consideration, and I hope Brunn will fight back and win!
The truth about Eberle should be known. Although you may support many of the same issues she says she does, she is not a trustworthy or believable person.
