OR-5: Pelosi to visit on behalf of Schrader
By Britten Chase, PolitickerOR.com ReporterSpeaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will participate in a fundraiser and rally for congressional candidate Kurt Schrader on October 24, according to an email from the campaign.
The invitation says Pelosi will be accompanied by former Gov. Barbara Roberts, Clackamas County Commissioner Martha Schrader (D-Canby) and outgoing Rep. Darlene Hooley (D-West Linn), whom Kurt Schrader is looking to replace.
There will be a reception at Mama Mia’s Restaurant in Portland at 1:15, followed by rally at 1:45.
