Robinson to address Obama volunteers in PDX

Craig Robinson, Oregon State University’s basketball coach and brother-in-law of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, will address campaign volunteers on behalf of Obama in Portland on Tuesday night.

According to Obama’s Oregon campaign, Robinson will headline a Portland volunteer appreciation event that will thank the volunteers for the phone banking, canvassing and other activities they have participated in to get as many Oregonians to return their ballots as possible.

The event will be at 5 p.m. at Obama/Merkley campaign headquarters in southeast Portland.
