Pulvers ‘happy’ and not interested in U.S. Attorney post

Portland attorney Roy Pulvers, who had been whispered as a possible U.S. Attorney candidate for Oregon, told PolitickerOR.com on Monday that he was honored to be considered, but not interested in taking on the position.

“I’m happy doing what I’m doing,” Pulvers said.

Pulvers is a highly respected Democratic lawyer, as well as a partner at Hinshaw and Culbertson. In addition to being a founder of the Democratic Lawyers Council, Pulvers also serves as the legal representation for the > Democratic Party of Oregon.

While he said he would not be interested in becoming Oregon’s highest federal law enforcement official, he was honored that several Oregon Democratic speculators had considered him for the role.

“I’m most pleased that people think of me as someone for this position,” he said.
