Conservative activist Bill Sizemore is in jail Monday after he was arrested for contempt of court, The Oregonian is reporting.
According to Oregonian reporter Ed Walsh, Sizemore was arrested for contempt of court and ordered jailed by Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge Janice R. Wilson until he filled out state and federal reporting forms for charitable organizations. Sizemore’s lawyer said the forms would be filled out as early as this afternoon, which would hasten Sizemore's release.
Sizemore, who generally puts several measures on each ballot, was the author of Ballot Measures 58,59,60,63 and 64 in the 2008 general election. None of the initiatives passed.
STUUUPIDDD
the entire situation was a JOKE. Bill Sizemore is being stripped of his constitutional rights. What ever happened to freedom of speech? Since when was it illegal to have a legal fundraiser for politics? or to have consistant donations from supporters? Since when was it LEGAL for a judge to order a "conservative activist" to stop politics? or not recieve money for politics? oh, since the entire system became corrupt and the judge can sit there and make any order she wants, whether it violates the rights of a U.S. citizen or not, and nobody asks questions because the incompetant judge Williams abuses her title. thats right, ABUSES it. the whole thing was a joke. thank GOD he was released. Now i hope he continues his fight. He's one of the true patriots left.
