Cambell to forgo run for Sec of State
By Alex Isenstadt, Politicker.com ReporterOregon Public Broadcasting is reporting that Republican Craig Campbell- whose name has been floating around as a potential candidate for Secretary of State – has decided against a run. According to the OPB story, Campbell acknowledged heavy recruitment from the state GOP, but ultimately concluded that the current political climate is simply too unfavorable for Republicans.
