Counting for Oregon

State Senator Vicki Walker’s is building her campaign for Secretary of State around the premise of “making every Oregonian count.”

Her campaign recently released a campaign booklet, Counting for Oregon, which details her plans should she be elected to office, which include expanding voter registration, publishing the five largest donors to every ballot initiative in the voters’ pamphlet and rotating the primary system so that Oregon is not always at the end of the line.

"How you campaign is a reflection of how you will govern," Walker said at a press conference where she unveiled her booklet.

Former legislator Catherine Webber praised Walker's willingness to "give the electorate substance over sound bites that are critical to increase the public's trust in government."
