Merkley to launch '100 Town Tour for Change'

Jeff Merkley will announce a "100 Town Tour for Change" tomorrow from his home in east Multnomah County, his Senate campaign announced today.

According to the statement: "Merkley will travel to 100 towns in every corner of the state, visiting schools, health clinics, factories, and businesses to talk about his plans to create quality jobs, establish universal health care, and make college and technical schools affordable."

Merkley is running against incumbent U.S. Sen. Gordon Smith (R-Pendleton) in a heated Senate race.
