Day Praises Hooley
By Lauren LafaroVance Day, the Chairman of the Oregon Republican Party responded today to Rep. Hooley's decision to not run for re-election.
“Darlene Hooley has worked tirelessly for the people of Oregon for Veteran’s rights, protecting against I.D. theft, and to help curb methamphetamine abuse in Oregon. We wish Congresswoman Hooley luck in her future endeavors.
Although he praised Hooley's past efforts, he also noted his support for the Republican candidate, Mike Erickson.
“As a successful business owner and a long time community leader, Mike will be an excellent representative for Oregon’s Fifth Congressional District,” Day said.
