Democrat Thackaberry gets in race for House District 17 seat

State Rep. Fred Girod could race Democrat Dan Thackaberry next yearThe Albany Democrat-Herald’s Ellen Ast reports today that Democrat Dan Thackaberry will run for the House District 17 seat, pitting himself against his 2006 Republican opponent, Rep. Fred Girod.
“It looks very good for a Democrat in this district,” Thackaberry, a Lebanon livestock farmer, tells the paper.
