Portland businessman Sho Dozono has narrowed the lead held by Commissioner Sam Adams in the city's mayoral race, according to a poll conducted last week by the Portland Tribune and FOX News 12.
The poll, the first in three months, indicates that Adams leads the 13-candidate field with 41 percent of the vote, the same number he had in February. Dozono however has picked up six points, giving him 26 percent of the vote.
While Dozono trails Adams by 15 percent, election rules stipulate if no candidate receives more than 50 percent then the top two vote getters will face off in the November general election.
