Gardner to Jump In?

The candidate slate for CD 5 has been slowly emerging over the days since U.S. Rep. Darlene Hooley announced she will not be running for re-election.

Labor Commissioner Dan Gardner, whose name has been floating around the rumor mill for the past few days, told the AP that he will make a decision by next Monday.

"If you look at both sides of the aisle, I am the only candidate who has been on the ballot in every single county in the district, twice, and won in every single one of those counties," Gardner said.
