With Linda Brown already declaring her intention to seek the District 38 House seat, Lake Oswego attorney Chris Garrett is also set to throw his hat into the ring, The Lake Oswego Review is reporting today.

Democrat Greg Macpherson is vacating the seat to run for state Attorney General.

Garrett is a good choice for District 38

Having grown up with Chris Garrett in the same neighborhood, I know he is sincere in his commitment to this district. His experience in Salem will allow him to get to the business of representing District 38 and solving Oregon's problems from the first day there. His legal experience will assist him in crafting solutions and bringing parties together. I am giving my support to Chris Garrett for District 38.
