Kaufman declines Casino gig

An update on the effort by Bruce Studer and Matthew Rossman to change Oregon's constitution to allow off-reservation casinos at the old greyhound park in Wood Village. Last December it appeared that liberal activist Liz Kaufman was taking over the reigns to lead the charge on behalf of Studer and Rossman and consultant Roger Gray was pushed out.

Perhaps three times is a charm with the new team in place. Studer and Rossman have now hired Matt Blevins, formerly of the Oregon Environmental Council, to manage the ballot measure campaign in addition to media consultant Mark Wiener and pollster Bob Meadow.
