From the campaign trail to the comedy club

Steve Novick is a funny guy. The U.S. Senate candidate has wielded his humor during debates and in campaign ads, and last weekend, at a comedy club in Seattle.

But Novick is not moonlighting as a stand-up comedian; rather, he hosted a comedy benefit for Operation Ward 57, a group that aids soldiers who have lost a limb.

Novick could not personally attend the Seattle event, but sent a video which was played to kick off the evening.

Although Novick is not an amputee—he was born without a left hand—he has often referred to his “sharp left hook” in his campaign.
