Polls today have Steve Novick slightly ahead of Jeff Merkley; a PPP poll had Novick with a five point lead, while a just released SurveyUSA poll found the lead to be slightly smaller.
Novick’s lead—37 to 34 percent—falls within the 4 percent margin of error.
Last week, SurveyUSA had Merkley up three points, at 31 percent to Novick’s 27 percent.SurveyUSA called the lead the “slightest possible edge.”
17 percent of voters are still undecided.
