Looking at the races for the legislature

The Oregonian’s Jeff Mapes has a must-read rundown of the top legislative races.

His verdict:  “At this point, the consensus among the people who watch this stuff for a living is that not very many seats will change hands and that no incumbents are really endangered. The problem is...that's what all the pundits said up until just a few weeks before the last election. And when the dust cleared, the Democrats had picked up four seats to take control of the House and three Republican incumbents had been defeated.”
