The Dems start to throw down on Walden

Congressman Greg Walden has one of the safest Republican seats in the country. For years Democrats have ignored his record, his seat and primarily his strong ties to the NRCC. Is Johnson connected to federal probe?

Democratic State Sen. Betsy Johnson is generating tremendous buzz today after the revelation of an FBI probe into what many believe relates to her connection with the Scappoose airport. Johnson has acknowledged she violated ethics rules in relation to the airport, but insists they were unintentional. So far, the FBI hasn’t released any details of their investigation, or even indicated what the probe is specifically exploring.  The Oregonian has some good background info here.
