Obama gains two Oregon superdelegates

Barack Obama picked up two superdelegate endorsements from Oregon: Democratic State Chair Meredith Wood Smith, and Democratic National Committeewoman Wayne Kinney.  That brings Obama’s Oregon superdelegate total to six, with two for Obama and four undecided.

As the Oregon primary looms near, the race to secure more superdelegates continues to heat up. Barack Obama's campaign announced today the endorsement of Congressman Peter Defazio, adding to current endorsers Congressmen Earl Blumenauer and David Wu.
