For those of you who have procrastinated for three weeks and still have not picked a pony in certain races, you can likely find a candidate on your local street corner. US Senate candidate Steve Novick's clan was camped out on the corner of Terwillerger this morning. Secretary of State candidate Kate Brown was seen waving her hand on the Sellwood bridge, while Attorney General candidates John Kroger and Greg Macpherson dueled it out on the Morrison bridge. And supporters of Portland mayoral candidate Sam Adams blocked left hand turns in the downtown area.
Voters have until 8pm tonight to drop off those ballots. Every last handshake counts at this point.
After a bitter primary battle in the Attorney General race against State Rep. Greg Macpherson, it appears that love is in the air for Democratic (and Republican) nominee John Kroger. >
