Another GOPer bites the dust

NW Republican blogs with intense disdain on the decision by Democrat Secretary of State Bill Bradbury to force Republican state house candidate Jeff Duyck to withdraw from running against state Rep. Chuck Riley for lack of residency requirements, while folks over at Blue Oregon cheer on House Dems' likely retention of control.

The decision, which reeks of political opportunism by a lame duck Democrat, does not bode well for House Minority Leader Bruce Hanna and his chances of breaking even or finding a majority this fall for House Republicans.  Looks like House Majority Leader Dave Hunt is now one giant step closer to holding that Speaker's gavel next January.

Bradbury

The title should not be "another GOPer bites the dust", it should be "unethical, baldly partisan official Bradbury, who messed up on drawing districts by making them partisan when they are not supposed to be, who looked the other way and even helping when members of his own party had problems, once again cheats by trying to get a member of the opposing party, who is set to beat a member of his party, out of the race"

I hope they do the ethical thing and let Duyck run still. Otherwise they are wasting over $35,000, as well as hours and hours of volunteer work.

I have one more thing to say: Vote Dancer!!!
