Obama's potential VP picks lack fundraising base in OR

None of U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's (D-Ill.) most-discussed potential vice presidential running mates -- U.S. Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.), U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) and Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine (D) -- would bring the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee a significant base of financial support in the state.

In his 2004 re-election campaign, Evan Bayh raised $2,000 from three Oregonians. Tim Kaine had one $250 contributor to his 2005 gubernatorial campaign. And though Biden didn't have any major contributors from the state for his 2002 senate race, he did have the support of at least 16 donors who contributed a total of $6,300 to his failed 2008 presidential run.
