Defend Oregon not broke just yet

While many Oregon Democrats are living it up in Denver this week, the main funders of the Oregon Democratic Party remain behind with several ballot measures they are trying to defeat this fall.  Dave Hogan reports in the Oregonian that the Oregon School Employees Association is donating $100,000 to Defend Oregon, a coalition supported primarily by Oregon labor unions and built mostly to defeat measures funded by wealthy Nevada businessman Loren Parks.  It's a good thing too, as contribution and expenditure reports indicate that Defend Oregon is currently $9,000 in the hole.
