Salem City Club publicizes Erickson's bad manners

The Salem City Club sent an email invitation earlier this week for a debate among all candidates running for Oregon's fifth congressional district.  They made it very clear that GOP nominee Mike Erickson has been invited, but refuses to RSVP.  In fact, it appears that because of Erickson's refusal to respond, the entire event format has been altered.  The following statement was made in the City Club's email:

"Originally this program featured a debate between two candidates.  This Friday we are expecting four of the current six candidates running for this important public office to debate: Oregon State Senator Kurt Schrader, Democrat; Doug Patterson, Constitution; Sean Bates, Independent; and Steve Milligan, Libertarian.  We have yet to know if Mike Erickson, Republican and Alex Poliakov, Pacific Green will join the debate.  We welcome their participation and following Salem City Club tradition we will leave chairs open to accomodate them if they attend."

We can see the DCCC ad now repeating all Erickson's recent mishaps with the press and showing his empty debate chair.

That's "Polikoff", not "Poliakov"

Yeah, the Salem City Club people got it wrong first. :)
